Data Collection
Data is critical to SERC’s continued success in support of its mission to reduce risks to the reliability and security of the electric grid. As a risk-based and data-driven organization SERC periodically collects data and information from registered entities to conduct reliability assessments, performance analysis, and studies. SERC also facilitates data collection in accordance to NERC Reliability Standard requirements and NERC’s Rules of Procedure
