Lou Stramaglio

Lou Stramaglio is the Director of Information Technology (IT) at SERC Reliability Corporation, where he leads all aspects of the organization’s IT strategy and operations. With over 25 years of experience in technology management and team building, Lou brings a strategic vision and leadership to SERC’s IT department, ensuring that technology initiatives effectively support business goals. 

Before joining SERC, Lou spent 9 years managing IT systems for 24/7 production environments in diverse industries, including gold mining at Barrick Gold and healthcare at Dean Health Systems. His ability to support critical, round-the-clock operations honed his skills in managing high-stakes IT environments. 

Most recently, Lou served as the Manager of IT Operations at the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) for 7 years, where he played a pivotal role in overseeing IT infrastructure and ensuring reliability across the region. With over 12 years of experience within the ERO Enterprise, Lou actively collaborates with other regions as part of the ERO Information Technology and Security Group. He helps shape and align cybersecurity initiatives to meet the evolving needs of the ERO, driving innovation and resilience across the bulk power system.
