Jennifer Golynsky
Director, Human Resources
Ms. Golynsky is the Director of Human Resources for SERC. She leads SERC’s Human Resources department, managing the strategic development and implementation of employee policies, procedures and programs. Working with the SERC management team, she provides coaching and development to all staff. Her team creates and implements human resource deliverables in benefits and compensation administration, recruitment, retention, succession planning, wellness, engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion and employee relations.
Prior to joining SERC, Ms. Golynsky accumulated over 25 years of professional experience while she served as the Director of Human Resources for various companies, consulting firms, and local government agencies.
Jennifer received both her Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Public Administration from University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, where she also served as Senior Class Treasurer. She holds numerous certifications and credentials in her field, including Senior Certified Professional and Senior Professional certifications in Human Resource; Six Sigma Green Belt; Lean HR; Certified Professional in Healthcare Reform; licensed life and health agent; certified mentor in emotional intelligence; and various coaching certifications in Disc + Values + Attributes and the Harrison Assessment.
Ms. Golynsky is active in the Society for Human Resource Management, having recently served as the Chapter President for Charlotte, NC and two terms on the Mecklenburg County Human Resource Advisory Committee (including one term as Vice Chair). She also lends her strategic planning and human resource expertise to several local non-profits. Ms. Golynsky is also a former competitive swimmer and diver and coached the Mecklenburg County Special Olympics Aquatics Team for 18 years.
