George Krogstie

George is the Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Treasurer, and his responsibilities include oversight of SERC’s Finance, Human Resources, and IT teams. In addition to managing SERC’s finances, George’s teams coordinate the implementation of people related services, policies, and programs, and ensure the reliability, security and modernization of SERC’s information technology programs. 

Prior to joining SERC George held various leadership positions at Time Warner Cable including Division Controller and Sr. Director of Finance. He oversaw subscriber metric reporting for a customer base of more than 15 million and was responsible for managing financial contract compliance for more than 350 networks and $5 billion in annual license fees. 

George received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Purdue University, is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is an active volunteer and has served as a youth mentor and Finance Officer for Fraternus and Boy Scouts of America.
